Born into an artist's family, Stéphane Gisclard was born in 1966 in Béziers.
He attended the fine arts of Paris and the workshop of the Grande Chaumière in 1986.
From the influence of great masters such as Cézanne, Braque, Leger, he keeps a cubist imprint in his work. However, it retains its personality through an exceptional mastery of the shadow and light. The power and purity of his line is reminiscent of the Art Deco period he particularly likes. He draws his inspiration from the port ambiances, the excitement of the big cities, the cabarets of the beautiful era.
He never ceases to sublimate the woman, the eternal muse of his work.
His pictorial technique is inventive and it is with talent that he associates patinas, glazes and pigments to magnify his palette, rich in moiré ochres and flamboyant reds.
